Vixen Review

Vixen by Lillian Larkin

Type: young adult historical fiction

Synopsis: Book one of The Flappers series. This is the story of three young women living in Chicago during the twenties. You have Gloria who is engaged to a man from a powerful family, but who wants to be part of the flapper crowd. Then there's Lorraine who is tired of being in Gloria's shadow. And lastly there is Clara, Gloria cousins, who is trying to hide her past, of a flapper living in New York, by being a good girl.

Review:  The first part of this book was a little slow, but when you are reading from three points of view it always takes me a little while to get into the story. I thought I was an okay read and I will probably try another book in this series to see what happens to our characters.

2.5 out of 5 stars.
